How was it in person? Even with the bumper issues that seems cheap...

They are awesome though, don't test drive it unless you're sure you want it, as you'll not want to give it back.

1. Car fax was okay, 4 owners and multiple auction sells. Accident last year resulting in left side and rear damage.

2. Was cold but idled at 1800 rpm?

3. Door handle falling off, interior scratched and rattled everywhere, rear view mirror fell off.

4. Rear bumper chipped and scratched.

5. Bumper even worse in person, multi colored yellow body panels everywhere. It’s been repaired multiple times off the record. Paint overspray in various places.

So yeah....

Buying a new car meant a new expensive replacement, ST will stay the Dd ;)  However, the plan is to finish my student loans and ST early next year and pick up an S2K the following fall. Just confirming why this was so cheap (see my response below about the car)

Yep. It also seemed/smelled to be running rich or burning something . Seems as though the high rpm is normal at cold though.

I mean it IS 17 years old so it won’t be perfect. On my car I  had to have my bumper repainted but I only had 2 owners and no reported accidents. It also wasn’t 14 grand

That Elise was a pile of shit as well :/ I’d avoid cars here tbh. Seems like a pretty standard sleazy wholesale shop. Most are damaged and rebuilt or in general terrible shape

Right, but with parts Falling off the car, rattled and mismatched paint everywhere with no records, this ones a no for me. However you are right, there are some things that aren’t going to be perfect, I’m too anal as a detailer (a blessing and a curse) so I’ll have to lower my standards, just not THIS low
